What’s Inside the Hardie?

 

  • At the side sliding doors:

     

    • A clever Triple Stacker of drawers for smaller items, hand tools, and consumables.

    • A SLED for your drop saw or table saw, easily accessible up front.

     

  • At the rear tailgate:

     

    • A raised JUMBO300 drawer set sitting on a subframe, leaving a 250mm-high storage area underneath for ladders, shovels, or long materials.

     

  • In between:

     

    • A large open storage area under the false floor, accessed via lift-up hatches in the Topper.

     

  • On top:

     

    • A full-length Topper false floor, creating a flat, durable surface — perfect for loading that last-minute sheet of ply after the apprentice cut the first one wrong.

  • The drawers and carcass are built from precise, CNC-cut 16mm black PVC board, manufactured using a compressed and extruded process.
  • Our drawer systems are NOT made from plywood — unlike plywood, this material is moisture-resistant, doesn’t splinter or split, is lightweight yet extremely durable, and finished in a sleek, subtle black.
  • The false floor (Topper) is made from 12mm HEXAply heavy-grade plywood, which is hard-wearing, water-resistant, easy to clean, and sealed on all edges to withstand rough use.
  • Our original non-runner (NR) system is still available and can also be mixed and matched with HDR where required — contact us to discuss the best combination for your needs.
  • Adjustable drawer dividers included and can be installed wherever you prefer.
  •  All necessary mounting hardware supplied.
  • Heavy-duty runners (HDR) rated to 227kg.
  • Full-extension:  
  • Convenient one-hand handle activates/deactivates the runners, locking securely in three positions — closed, mid-extension, and fully extended.
