It's undeniable, the popularity of the venerable Jimny. These little beasts have proven themselves for many years and this latest model has been selling like hotcakes! Small in stature, big at heart.
We have created a couple of options to increase the functionality of the cargo area. Both require removal of the rear seats but i think we all agree these aren't that comfy.
Starting with the "Flat Floor" option, this includes an aluminium subframe to level out the area, with a 870L x 920W, 12mm Transtex220 plywood overlay and our Cargo Bar added to create a stopend before the front seats. This can be left in the standard ply finish or we can also overlay with a HD carpet option. This gives very handy and versatile option for those need to increase load capacity.
The second option is of course a jazzy drawer setup. Using as much space as possible, without encroaching on the front seats ability to move and not fouling hard on the rear door. Our JIMNY DRAWER setup, which uses the "Flat Floor" as its foundation, utilises a big drawer with internal dimensions of 705W x 755L x 250D. Featuring 227kg rated runner hardware and our awesome "one hand" handle, the ease of use is quite astounding. Then of course we have a full width Topper over it all with Cargo Bar to three sides for securing your gear. Again we can carpet the Topper or leave with the standard finish.
SPECS
The drawer and drawer carcass are made using precise, CNC cut 16mm black PVC board which uses a compressed and extruded PVC production method. Our drawer sets ARE NOT MADE OF PLYWOOD and unlike plywood, our product isn't affected by moisture, doesn't splinter or split, is extremely durable but lightweight and of course very good-looking and subtle in black. Heavy Duty 227kg rated runner hardware is included along with our handy "one hand" handle which lock outs when closed and at full 700mm extension.
The false floor 'Topper' will easily handle some rough n' tumble. It's made from 12mm Trans-Tex 220 European Birch heavy transport grade plywood. This is extremely hard-wearing, water-resistant and easy to clean down plywood with fully sealed edges.
Drawer dividers are also included which you can fit off wherever you wish and all mounting hardware is supplied.
The Cargo Bar and mounting brackets are laser cut, CNC folded 3mm aluminium, which is then powder-coated in a long-lasting and scratch-resistant textured black powder coating system.

INSTALLATION
Installation from our Auckland workshop is $99, and includes us removing the rear seating etc.
If you're not an Auckland local but are happy to come to us for installation, at checkout, simply choose "Local Pick-up" as your preferred shipping method.
Installation at any of our retailer partners will incur an additional charge for shipping and installation.
SHIPPING
If you can't make it to us or our retail partners, we can pack up and freight your setup to the closest Mainstream freight depot to you or directly to a commercial address.
A flat "to depot" rate applies:

For direct freight drop off options we require a commercial address, just have a chat with us first to discuss options and pricing.
Pallets are relatively large so keep that in mind when collecting.

A 50% deposit will be required and need to be paid to ensure your spot within our production and installation queue.
