It’s undeniable — the esteemed Jimny has won hearts everywhere. Small in stature but big at heart, these little beasts have proven themselves over decades. With the latest model selling like hotcakes, we’ve designed two clever options to make the most of its cargo area.

Option 1: False Floor

Our False Floor option creates a level, durable platform — perfect for increasing load capacity.

• Aluminium subframe with a 12mm HEXAply transport-grade plywood overlay (870L x 920W).

• Finished with our Cargo Bar to stop gear from sliding into the front seats.

• Standard ply finish or optional heavy-duty carpet overlay.

• Handy and versatile for work or play.

(Note: both options require removal of the rear seats — which we can all agree aren’t that comfy anyway!)

Option 2: Jimny Drawer

For those who want even more functionality, our Jimny Drawer system builds on the Flat Floor with a full drawer setup:

• Large drawer: 705W x 755L x 250D, with 227kg-rated runners and our one-hand locking handle.

• Full-width Topper with Cargo Bar on three sides for securing gear.

• Optional carpet finish or standard ply.

• Designed to maximise usable space without impeding seat movement or fouling on the rear door.

• Drawer carcass: CNC-cut 16mm black PVC board — moisture-resistant, durable, lightweight, and sleek.

• Topper: 12mm HEXAply transport-grade plywood, sealed, hard-wearing, and easy to clean.

• Runners: Heavy-duty 227kg-rated with full 700mm extension and one-hand locking handle.

• Cargo Bar & brackets: 3mm aluminium, CNC-cut & folded, powder-coated in scratch-resistant black.

• Adjustable drawer dividers & full mounting hardware included.

With these two options, you can transform your Jimny into a highly functional, organised, and adventure-ready rig — without sacrificing style.

Installation

• Installation from our Auckland and New Plymouth workshop is available for just $99.

  If you’re not based in Auckland but are happy to come to us, simply select “Local Pick-up” as your shipping method at checkout, and we’ll take care of the rest.

• Installation through any of our retail partner locations is also available. Please note that installations at partner locations will incur additional shipping and installation charges, which may vary by partner.

Shipping

If you can’t make it to our workshop or one of our retail partners, we can pack and freight your setup to the nearest Mainfreight depot or directly to a commercial address.

Flat “To Depot” Rates:

• North Island: $140

• South Island: Please contact us, rates largely vary depending on the region. 

For direct delivery to a commercial address, please chat with us first so we can confirm the options and provide accurate pricing.

Please note: our pallets are relatively large, so ensure you have adequate space and transport arranged when collecting your order.

To secure your spot in our production and installation queue, a 50% deposit will be required.
